So, clearly it is bug time again. I always face a dilema with the mosquitos, as I'm allergic to their bites (get nasty quarter size, hot welts and if I get too many, a fever and throw up) but I try to be organic. I've tried almost EVERY mosquito product on the market. None of the sprays keep them away from me (they love me) the citronella candles seem to set a romantic mood for them to bit me, etc etc.

In the past years, I've used some liquid bug spray on back yard that has helped some. I've thought about getting one of the pest companies to come out and really spray, but I'm sure that stuff is super toxic and it is also expensive.

Last night I was out in the yard trying to take some photos and my hands kept getting bitten. I went out to run some errands, bought some yard fogger, came home and fogged the crap out of the shady areas of my yard. The yard seemed a little better after that treatment and I kept the dogs indoors for hours. At this point it is either chemicals on the yard to kill the bugs or chemicals in me (ended up on prednisone a few years ago) to deal with the bites. I did get one of those Off fan things and will try that out next time I'm out in the yard for a while.
