  <description>They were so lovely, and smelt so gorgeous, but now the blooms are very nearly over and the plants are straggly and going to seed.

The whole of the front garden needed a tidy up, and so the wallflowers were the first to go. I could have left them in to ripen and harvest their seeds, but wallflowers are biannual, you only get the flowers once every two years. I have no room for non flowering flowers, it is much easier to get the plants from the market when they have already grown for a year.</description>
