Transplanted the Tomatillos

Tuesday, 02 Jun 09 28°C / 82°F

I finally got the tomatillos transplanted into the veggie garden today. All of a sudden they are doing really well- think they must be loving this warm spell we have been having. I was originally going to plant them in a raised bed but decided to put them straight into the ground since I have read they do not mind soil that is not the greatest. And the soil in the veggie garden still needs a lot of improving. Or at least some more rock removal! I hope I have given them enough room to sprawl as I do not really care to stake them. Can’t wait til they start to pump out some fruit!
