I got an email last night from the growers to say that the order had been dispatched and was on it's way, and thankfully today was one of the few days that I was in to receive it. I kept the box and bag it arrived in as cool as I could until the sun had gone from the lawn area before planting them out. I've been mulching the ground with old carpet remnants for a year to make sure that there are as few weeds as possible as young chamomile is susceptible to them. So out with the dibber, and much ground puncturing ensues. I managed to disturb an ants nest and cheesed off a couple of worms, but otherwise all went well. One hour later and I have 75 clone chamomile plantletts squadged in the ground. A good soak of water and a sprinkle of imagination and I am sure I can hear them all slurping in unison.
