So tired, so this has to be a quickie:

A few more of the seeds have sprouted in their seedling pots:
Thai Sweet Basil
Aromatto Basil
Catnip
Lemon Gem Marigold (although it's looking sad)

A few seedlings are going crazy and need to be potted up in larger (temporary) pots:
Tomatillo Verde especially
Purple Tomatillo
Red and White Currant Tomatoes

The Chinese Yellow Cuke and especially the Lemon Squash are doing exceedingly well - I can't believe how big they are already.

Nothing I bought over the past 2 weekends at the various nurseries in the area have died, although the superbells is very hard to keep well watered. I bought a new plant called Bacopa (_Sutera diffusus_) ‘Scopia Golden Leaves’ for the planter with the fuschia, although the color of the flowers does not go at all - oh well. I'll update with photos when I have a chance. I am enamored with dead nettle (Lamium)

My next crop of nasturtiums (_minus_), which it looks like I neglected to enter a planting date for (no matter), has started sprouting. The ones I started over the winter are starting to look a bit ragged. I'm wondering if I should move either these (when they get big enough) or the sweet peas (which have been doing barely anything) to a hanging basket.

I finally bought fertilizer! I really wanted to try Earthjuice, but I couldn't find it very locally (supposedly I can get it in Oakland, but going through the tunnel on a weekend (or any time really) is not my idea of a good time. I ended up getting Master Gardeners brand (I think) Fish Emulsion, and also something called Bonsai Pro, which contains all the micronutrients that none of the other fertilizers, including the really chemically ones, included all of (at my local places anyway). We'll see how that goes. I can see it getting expensive. The plants have already responded positively however, though, I think - things look a tad lusher and greener, even after (or perhaps despite of?) the heat wave this weekend. I plant to do the fish emulsion once a week on the weekend and the other stuff every other day. One note about the fish emulsion - it _reeks_. Like vomit. I am not wimp when it comes to smelling icky things, but this stuff is really vile. All for the cause I guess, right? (Right?)
