In a moment of possible rashness, yesterday I decided to plant out the tomatoes into their grow bags. I hope this isn’t too soon. In other matters, the peas and beans are sprouting really well.

I think it was a case of pent-up activity, as I’d been planning it for a month or so before we actually moved, then another week while we unpacked. Planting out the tomatoes at that time seems to have been a mistake, as they’re not looking so happy. I moved them to a sunnier spot, so hopefully they’ll do a bit better, and ordered some nematodes to try to protect them against the evil slugs.
