I am back out of town again this weekend, after hoping I would be home to work in the yard. Oh well... that is what happens when you try to do too much. I got the yard cut this evening, cutting around the daylilies. Unfortunately, the boys who cut my yard mowed down my 'Chorus Line' daylilies. They are putting out new growth, so they are not dead but I don't if I'll get any blooms this year.

I stopped at Country Boys on the way home from work and got some plants to make my hanging baskets. I'm still in the process of rooting little cuttings of the pink coleus to make the shadiest basket, so I was only shopping for three baskets.

I saw some really pretty coral bells, in a nice color called mango, so had to get those. I got 2 pots of the mango, 1 pot of orange coral bells and a black sweet potato vine, not 'Blackie' this year but 'Sidekick Black'. This basket is on the far left hand side, my sunniest location. Next to that, I have a basket with 2 'Aloha Neon 09' coral bells and 2 Aztec Violet trailing verbena. The coral bells haven't performed quite as I've hoped for me, so the plan for this year is to hit them with more fertilizer and hope the weather isn't quite so hot. The final hanging basket is my part-shade basket and I couldn't decide what to do. I've had double impatiens there in years past, but couldn't really find any pre-made baskets of them for a good price this year, so I went with a quart size New Guinea impatien this year. I think it is pretty.

Will try to get pictures tomorrow AM.
