Your spinach looks really great. It’s ahead of mine. Since my spinach has made it off my break-up warning list, and therefore I’ll be planting it in the fall, I’ll have to remember to sow it as thickly as you have.

I sort of went nuts with the spinach. I am basically using it as a cover crop to keep the soil from blowing away while I wait for it to be tomato time. I didn’t expect it to work, because spinach never works for me. Plus my mom gave me tons of it because it never works for her but she kept trying it. So I planted it on basically a two inch grid. I expected most of them not to work at all. My first few spinach salads were little spinach florets to thin out the grid as it grew. I am really happy with that method of planting; it let me start eating a lot sooner.
