The seeds were finally starting to sprout- I had about given up on them and was wondering what possessed me to start them outside verses indoors. Then yesterday morning the local gang of birds that loves to patrol our deck decided to peck away at the poor calendula seedlings. sigh Time to start over and this time I will begin them indoors! I’m just running out of room on the windowsill!
