I’m trying out using toilet paper roll as little planters. I cut a roll in half, then folded the bottom, filled with soil and planted seeds. Once the seedling are ready to be planted in the veggie beds, I can plant the whole thing, including the toilet paper roll which will decompose in the soil.

I planted 4 each of:
- Broccoli Raab (Batch 2)
- Mustard Spinach ‘Tendergreen’
- Mustard ‘Miike Purple Giant’ (Batch 2)

I will eventually plant each variety (4 plants) in one square foot. These grown quickly, so I’ll repeat this in 3-4 weeks for more succession planting.
