Outside lettuce (1st sowing) sprouted and the alfalfa is ready to eat!

These little lettuce pretties have just broken the surface of the soil in the pots outside on the balcony – how cute!
Alfalfa sprouts are already ready to eat – fantastic! I’ve removed some from the jar for my salad this evening and have left the rest in, I reckon a few of them could do with one more day in the sun just to get a few tiny tasy leaves on them.
