The first thing of note is that I have found someone willing to hunt the rabbits on the allotment. One of the butchers a the Saturday market on Keppoch Street is a ferretter. I need to contact the plot secretary to get something organised.

Saturday was another beautiful day and we have almost finished preparing all the beds. I dug in the manure of about 2/3rds of the potato plot and between us we cultivated and raked everything else to develop the tilth.

The PSB is sprouting nicely now that it has been protected.

I will be sowing various brassicas this week at home. Need to ensure that everything has a good start to witstand the depradations of our various pests.
