Oh my goodness! These were perfectly yummy in a meaty yet most flavorful way!! I read I shouldn't expect more than a handful of fruits, but I think I harvested more than I was even expecting. Each plant (4 total) gave me at about 8 large fruits weighing in at about 1 lb. Some of the fruits were so heavy that I had to find ways to support the fruit while they ripened. Otherwise they would break they would break away. See the picture of fruits not supported! They might have looked ugly, but sure didn't taste it LOL! Also once picked they didn't sit around long enough to go bad or invite fruit flies. I saved a total of (4) for seed, pulp and all, for the fermentation process of saving and storing seeds.
