  <description>This turnip didn't look like it was ever going to get any fatter, so I pulled it. Was getting really crowded in between the eggplant &amp; capsicum. I also pulled lots of other turnip plants that were clearly way too crowded into the bed: all greens, no roots. 

Growing turnips has been an interesting experience, I would totally love it to do it again but I'm completely out of room in the existing beds. My radishes are also looking a bit meagre at the moment, struggling for space &amp; nutrients with the big summer veggie bully-boys. But, it's hard to convince myself it's worth digging another garden bed just for turnips &amp; radishes. Will ponder this for a while.

The radish is in the upper left-hand corner of this picture. As you can see, it didn't plump out thoroughly.</description>
