These three fruit all set & grew at about the same time, and they all seem to have stopped getting bigger for the past few days so I decided it was time to pick them. They're definitely not ripe but I'm learning that with capsicums, if you wait around for only the ripe ones to harvest, you'll be waiting a long long time. If you keep picking the green ones through the year and just let the ones towards the end of the year ripen, you'll wind up with much more fruit overall. At least, this is what I'm told, and I'm going to go with this theory. As the plant sets more fruit I might start harvesting only some of the unripe ones and see how long they take to become ripe.

So these do seem to be a different variety of capsicum to a bell pepper- long, narrow, curly, with thin walls. This is good. I've just sowed a bunch more seeds of different capsicum/sweet pepper varieties that AREN'T bell pepper types, since I hear that they are more prolific and anyway I'm just not that into dedicating whole swathes of my garden to bell peppers when there are apparently loads of varieties to try.

This plant is still long & lanky but has branched quite a bit now and has more fruit developing.
