The temperature in my kitchen is dropping down to below 12 centigrade, and finer sprouts such as alfalfa and broccoli can't hack it. I have noticed that it takes a lot longer for sprouts to grow at these temperatures too. I should not complain, it is minus 2 outside right now, and will get to minus 10 for short periods over the winter. Those sprouts should count themselves as lucky!
