Well I have begun my very first vegetable garden in the last 6 weeks and have already learnt my first lesson. I germinated a few different seeds in punnets but did not mark what they were. The only plants I have been able to positively recognised are the tomatoes. The rest, well I have no idea. The lesson, in future tag all punnets and plantings so that I know what I have.

That has happened to me before. We had a huge garden and couldn’t remember which rows things were planted in. They become easier to recognize as they mature though

I agree with tagging. Especially since I do container gardening and some plants can’t even come into full maturity and get so confusing I don’t know what is what.

We all learn step by step and also through experiences though.
