Harvesting the Veggies of Someone Else's Labor

Monday, 13 Oct 08

We just bought a new house, and with it, inherited an established garden. Now it’s Harvest time, with Frost looming over our heads. We have a whole house to set up, but I’m going to put the gardens at the top of the priority list because A) I have a waste/guilt factor built into my genomes, and B) Time is of the essence.
I’m looking for ways to use this harvest; recipes, storage tips, harvesting info, ect. I don’t want to waste anything, but I also will not be collecting any seeds for trade, since I don’t know the origins of any of the plants. After this Harvest, the Gardens will get a re-vamp.

What a treasure for you! Are all the plants hot peppers, or do you have any other bounty?
