<description>As to garden status all of my cucumber starts have wilted and died in the garden. I'm debating on starting some again in the green house and just trying to hold them there until the weather warms up or just letting it go. The peas and lettuce are doing well still, but I really need to plant more pea plants. The corn that was direct sowed is coming up as are the radishes and carrots. The poatoes are starting to sprout and show themselves above the soil. When they get a foot or so tall we'll add more soil and bury them partially again. Haven't seen anything out of the beets and pole beans yet, but both were planted after the radishes and carrots which are known for being particularly fast sprouters. In the greenhouse the tomatoes are doing pretty well. I've cut back on watering them though because I think I was being overzealous and I've learned that they are getting a bit wilty due to the high humidity we've been having on account of the cool and the rain (learned that from David at Dog Mountain). Apparently it shouldn't really harm them, but it's less than ideal. I still have ground cherries, hot and sweet peppers, and onions starts in there as well which all seem to be doing well. I have two tomato plants in pots outside that are doing just fine as are the herbs and blueberry bush in the &quot;herb bed&quot;. The artichokes have been getting eaten up by slugs so we did the unorganic and put (animal-friendly) slug bait around them in hopes of getting them through.
