Making my salad this afternoon, I realized that I really ought to plan my garden around the things I love to have in my salads. So that would include:

* Lettuce: I'm not such a fan of the green leaf variety because it always goes so slimy so fast in my fridge. but maybe if I grew it myself, it would last longer being fresh. But how could I keep it going all summar?
* Romaine Lettuce - keeps better for longer
* Sugar Snap Peas. LOVE LOVE the peas
* Tomatoes. I love the cherry and little yellow pear varieties, but big tomatoes are good too
* Cucumber. Lemon Cucumber is my favorite, but I haven't had much luck with those as of yet.
* Sprouts. I'm already growing these in my kitchen.
* Cilantro

Other things I'd like to grow are zucchini, pumpkins, and an herb garden as well as mint.

and I wonder if I can grow watermelon? That would be awesome!
