This morning I rolled the big half-barrel of oregano over from the front yard, where it's been looking mopey, to the south, between the quince & the patio. It was a pain to move, but I'm sort of proud of doing it all by myself. Then I drenched it. Now we wait & see if it takes to the new spot.

I also put down some more cardboard & chips around the "pumpkin patch," dug up some saplings, and tried to level the dirt that's still bare between that patch & the patio. Didn't come out very well, honestly. If I were serious, I'd need to either haul in some dirt to level it out, or rototill. Alas. Maybe I'll keep working on it in the early mornings this week, while it's still shady in that spot.
