What are these brown spots on my basil leaves?

Friday, 11 Jul 08

For the past few weeks I have been noticing some light brown spots on the basil leaves in this pot. I do not know what is causing them. Any ideas?

Could this be an issue of under-watering? I ask this because after its most recent watering, the basil plant looked much greener and the leaves much bigger. These spots don’t seem to be occurring on the two other pots of basil I have growing, though this plant is more mature.

Any luck with this problem…I have it now. I’m guessing on over watering, but really have no idea. Any comments?
