The basil is also doing well and I am about to harvest it to make some pesto sauce. I think that I am going to move all herbs to their own containers after this. Its hard to keep them pruned enough to not take over other squares of the garden without wasting some. I have lots of medium sized containers from my gardening attempt last year, so I will use those! I have declared my attempt at getting onions from seed a failure, so no pics, but I did find onion bulbs at the nursery so I am going to try those. Supposedly I can plant those up until August, so we will give it a go! I planted new lettuce seedlings a couple of weeks ago and have some sprouts. I am only going for 2 heads at a time as more than that is wasteful. I should plant some more seedlings for the next batch soon tho I think. My carrots are still quite scragly and I don't have a lot of hope of them working out..... tho I know carrots take a long time so maybe I am judging too soon. The sweet peas/peas seem to have taken some damage and are quite dry. Some are doing ok, but I need to get out there with some snippers and trim them. the green beens next to them are doing fabulous tho and I just planted those 2 weeks ago! I can't wait to see how they grow :) I harvested 2 small tomatoes off of the patio tomato plant yesterday. No tomato bulbs on the cherry tomato plant, but it is quite large and seems to really like the netting behind it. The eggplant is still doing really well, flowers, no fruit yet. Same for the honey dew melon!
