Go little corny ones, go!

Wednesday, 11 Jun 08 Sunny 29°C / 84°F

The corn is what we are the most excited about in the whole garden. No experience growing it at all, although I’ve seen it growing all my life (there’s a lot of corn fields in this part of PA!). The sprout is up high enough on most of the seedlings that it’s now branching into two leaves.I think we planted this late, and I’m not thinking we’re going to get them “knee high by the 4th of July”…but whatever, so excited that they’re growing. Hard to imagine something alive stored in that hard dried out kernel that I planted 9 days ago.
