Made 3 more batches of pasta sauce with my tomatoes and herbs. Took a bunch of the scraps and made more vegetable stock for winter soup making. Despite the terrible drought, I’ve had a pretty good harvest so far and have been really preparing for the winter months. My BF works in the trades and will most likely be laid off for the winter, which means we will be surviving on my income alone, so any little bit helps with the grocery bill!

That pasta sauce looks delicious. I love reading about gardeners’ stocking their larder….for whatever reason.
