Today, I sent my planter full of fairly mature sweet basil plants and dill plants home with my dad and stepmom! I’m very excited, as they actually do a lot of gourmet/culinary cooking, and utilize fresh herbs alot. I’m going to harvest most of my plants soon and am going to freeze them for future use. Bye, Bye Basil and Dill! (still have dozen or more plants left :p)

Hi Cremmy! Welcome to Folia! We are almost neighbors, in Folia-land at least! I live in Swansea MA! I have kids that live in E. Greenwich and W. Warwick. Isn’t it great to be able to grow your own herbs and then proudly share!

Hi SneIrish! What a small world, I’d been hoping to find someone local to compare/read about plants from. How exciting! It is a pleasure to “meet” you :) I went to school in Leicester and W. Springfield, MA 4 or 5 years ago, I really enjoy the MA weather! How fun that your kids live in RI too! We just bought a house here in Hope Valley last March to start my first company. I love the weather and in general natural diversity here in RI! Owning my own gardens has definitely changed my life, and my boyfriend James, and I, are hoping to create our own stable “mini farm” here! I agree, it is great!
