Photo #1: The freshly pruned Colocasia bed, and the freshly weeded brick path.
Photo #2: The Colocasia bed before pruning, with the weedy compost bins visible in the back right.
Photo #3: The freshly weeded compost bins, with Colocasia leaves in the middle bin (which will hopefully reduce future weeds), and stems in the left. I hoed this area less than 3 weeks ago, but this time I climbed into the bins and grubbed out the roots as well as the tops. I never thought that I’d need to repeatedly weed my compost bins! :P
Photo #4: The lemongrass has settled well into its new spot, and the pineapple guava (Feijoa) and loquat trees are visibly growing as well. I’m hoping to get fruit from the loquat next spring, for the first time!
