Does anyone know what would cause this sort of damage to lemon fruits? It happened all at once, a while ago, to most but not all of the fruits. To my inexperienced eye, it doesn’t look like scab or scale. It happened during a dry period – perhaps birds were pecking at the skin for moisture? Not sure, and curious as to the cause and what I could do to prevent this from recurring next year.
