Lots going on in the garden right now. Sweet pea currant and Bison tomatoes are producing in abundance. The borage just started to flower.

All of the peppers are doing great. I made my first jar of pickled jalapenos today, with one Hungarian Hot Carrot thrown in just ’cus it was ready!

Morden Midget eggplant is flowering, with aphids, but flowering.

Saw my first Chicago National Pickle today.

Harvested some of the yellow beans, baby chicogga beets (plus beet tops from the early wonder), kale and peas for dinner tonight.

Thyme is coming up well now. Comfrey is still flowering without any visible seeds.

My “dogs breakfast” in the front is filling in nicely now too.

The Merlins are out in force, but keeping the large critters away. I haven’t seen the rabbit lately!
