I consider it a good agreement: my neighbor mows the meadows and we give the hay to him.
So in these sunny days Sandro (railwayman to make a living, farmer as a vocation), using a BCS mower manufactured over 50 years ago but kept in good repair and an old baler, has cut the hay, then has raked it (with our help), made small square bales (his daughter was driving the tractor) and perfectly cleaned the slopes. Just before a rainstorm.
It has been pleasing raking the hay together while chatting. Luckily I do have some good neighbors too!

3 raking the slopes
4 Sandro and his baler
5 my neighbor’s daughter driving the tractor

Good neighbours, good to have.
Judging by photo #4, that’s some slope! And in Photo #5, a Lamborghini, although I’m sure that one doesn’t max out at 200kmh, nor turn heads on the freeway. :-)

Looks like a good crop of hay – are the cows you’ve shown us, Sandro’s?
The BSC mower is very like an old Allen Scythe http://www.oldlawnmowerclub.co.uk/moms/mom14-as.htm we used to have.

No, Sandro isn’t the owner, roaming cows and horses invade also his meadows…

I love it! So nice to have good neighbors to offset the bad ones. I did not know Lamborghini made tractors. That is like our new low-flush toilet which is made by…Jacuzzi!
