When are my tomatoes going to ripen?

I’ve had both my cherry types and black krim’s with full fruit on them for a few weeks now and they don’t look to be ripening. The weather here has been hot and dry, but I have been making sure they are getting consistently watered. I water deeply every other day. They are not showing any signs of stress. They are quite vigorous plants. I’ve managed to get fully ripened peppers, cukes, beans etc. but tomatoes are taking forever to ripen. Any suggestions? Or am I stuck until the weather changes?

Black Krim and Yellow Pear tomatoes are listed as 70-80 days to maturity. For tomatoes you generally have to count from the date of transplant. There can be wide variations from the stated number of days it takes depending on growing conditions, but based on your transplant dates I’d say you have about another month to wait.

The fruits are quite large already and we had a warm spring, so we are about a month ahead of where we should be, which is why I asked. Getting impatient. LOL

I just checked: last year my first black krim fruits appeared 144 days after sowing, and the first harvest was 49 days later. But last summer was pretty cold here.
