This afternoon I meant to trasplant the last zucchini and cucumbers in the vegetable garden, but something different has attracted my attention, distracting me from my task.
The lavender bushes are starting to bloom, and bees and bee flies, butterflies and diurnal moths are flying around the spikes.
There were some brimstones, some small whites, a female of chalkhill blue (the female is brown, the male blue) and two hummingbird hawk-moth. I haven’t seen before a hummingmoth in my garden: they beat their wings so fast dancing in the air, so graceful!
Relaxing.
It’s extraordinary how the time has flyed…
