I harvested 2 garlic plants to see their size. Didn’t take note of varieties but one was growing in the center of the bed and the other on the west edge. Needless to say, the one in the center was bigger.
I’m not thrilled with the sizes but I’ll take what I get. I have a feeling that number of cloudy (and rainy) days this Spring and early Summer, has affected my garlic size.

That IS interesting. I always consider the center of my narrow garlic rows better with more nutrients and compost and the edge less so.
