Garden Experiment

Hi ya’ll! I was starting to worry a bit about the future of my little garden. This is the time I have tried growing anything from seed and I have been fortunate enough to have great success so far! In fact, all of my plants are doing so well that I’m struggling to find enough sunny space to put everything!

The more I read, the more I am starting to think I am going to have to rely on personal experience. I’m currently trying to find new homes for my sugar baby watermelons and beefsteak tomatoes.

Instead of fretting over the specifics I think I am going to do something a little different with each plant. I will place each in it’s own unique container or location in the ground and just water as needed like regular and keep notes on which does the best.

If I had my way I would use self-watering, rubbermaid totes or 5 gallon buckets for everything, however my landlord is picky about aesthetics and so I am a little limited in where and how I can grow my little babes.

All is well in the garden of the growing gnome and I look forward to sharing this next week’s adventures in transplanting with all of my fellow folians! :)

Good luck and happy gardening!
