Three hot summer days without me

My work schedule is varied but static – now. I have one week of crazy almost back to back 12-hour shifts and one week with almost no work. Its really not a bad schedule. But it does make it hard to find a second or go back to school.
Anyways…
This was one of the busy weeks. I watered thoroughly before the start of my 3-day back to back shifts (12+ hour days, my last day I was on the floor almost 18-hours) and, usually, keep an eye on my dears as I go out in the AM.
Well, this weekend it did not happen as such. My poor garden babies were ignored on my way out and ignored on my way in. It was a crazy weekend I could not catch time back up on.
Well, finally off work today (and not enjoying the heat), I got a chance to look at my growing babies. No harm done. A little dry and a little wilted here and there but nothing a good thorough watering won’t perk right back up.
When the day gets cooler I will need to repot my fats growing Toms (Sungold and White cherry are doing marvelous after I potted up and are ready for their final and biggest home and cages…).
My edible from mama (who knows what it is) looked like it is going to flower. I see little round buds forming. I wonder if it will affect the taste?
My Strawberry guava is putting out more buds and my little pregnant bellies are still tiny and green.
My Pineapple guava decided it would flower once and call it quits. I can’t tell if its happy for not!
My tiny sprout of Alpine Strawberry is still alive and thriving well. I hope it grows into a nice big strong plant…
But I am at a loss for my Korean Perilla and Korean Peppers! They are growing big and beautiful but the leaves are distorted and terrible! I thought it was the aphid infestation plus mites that was causing it but the buggies are gone and still my leaves are not beautiful! Even the ladies have almost all flown away. I hope they left eggs behind to attack the next generation of aphids and buggies already forming…
Back to my malformed leaves! Could it be malnutrition? What nutrient could be missing? My Jalepeno and Korean pepper in the tiny pots are doing fine… So far.
What could it be?
