My ability to keep up with this journal is, well, abyssmal. Having recently started a new job and with only three months left until my thesis is due, it’s unlikely that this will change any time soon. However, I know there’s a lot of work to do in the garden before Spring and I do find this a valuable way of keeping track of things. So small goals for now; I’m aiming to post on Bloom Day and Harvest Day to remind me to keep the garden going, and we’ll see where I’m at once I graduate!

Yep, small goals.. and never feel that you’re failing! If it’s a choice between a little or nothing then just keep it simple and see what develops. In a years time, just a couple of quick notes can prove invaluable, especially if the memory is full of the mundane (daily) things.
