After letting the new swap violets rest for 24 hours, I did a thorough inspection and first bit of grooming.
The violets were trimmed a bit. Some deadish or wilty leaves were removed. The crown of Rob’s Galiwinku was potted up for rooting, along with another small crown that came off the main one during the process. Two leaves were also put down for rooting. Deep Sky had a fairly large sucker off to the side, That was removed and put down for rooting also. Allegro Appalachian Trail had a lot of pale leaves and also a lot of brown dead leaves. These dead ones were removed and I thinned out the rest of the leaves so light could get through the mass. There are at least three main stems coming from the main crown and several smaller side stems. With some good grooming it should turn into a nice looking trailer. The rooted leaves for MyDream and NOID cranberry were potted up. I didn’t do anything much to the MyDream plant, and I’ll check it again in a few days and will probably repot it then.
