New Home, Fresh Start: Growing a garden again!

So I’ve been on hiatus for a while. John and I were seemingly at the end of out relationship at 3 years. We moved to separate homes. He got a job again. I suffered through my old job at a very low paying food establishment. It was basically a glorified fast food job.
I started having problems with health issues. I’ve suffered from pain from time I was 10 years old but it was always brushed off, and at 22 years old it was becoming unbearable. Swollen hands and feet, joint pain, migraines, burning sensation in finders and muscle cramping in my calves, palms of my hand, rib cage, etc.
John and I mended our relationship but we are still learning to care for each other and trust. Being 22 and 23, we are still young but we know that or feelings for each other are very deep. We’ve finally moved into a home again after 10 months of living separately.
I am going to start a garden but am very sad that it is rather late in the game to start things from seed. I’m very low on funds so I may just do simple things like lettuce, onions, garlic, potatoes. Mainly things I can collect from the store and plant.

Sorry this update is not completely about gardening.. I’m just posting to let people know what I’ve been up to since I vanished from the site.

Wow, what a move, from one end of the country to the other! It’s good to hear from you again. I’m happy you were able to work things out with John and are able to garden again. I’d be happy to send you some seeds if you let me know what you need. Just let me know.

Anelson’s link seems very helpful. Wishing you the best in every way!

You might want to see about possibly getting some of these seeds for free from a fellow Folian. Check it out:

They might not be the freshest seeds, but you may get enough out of it to make it worth your while.
