Post-Bloom Day Blooms

Friday, 15 Jun 12 Sunny 36°C / 97°F

And…wait for it… then they bloomed.

Squash has an enormous blossom. I stepped outside this morning and said, “Gack! Where did YOU come from?” And the coreopsis waited until this morning to bloom. The last photo is just pretty morning glory and beeblossom. (Bees were really digging on the beeblossom this morning; I was outside later than usual, which may account for it.)
