So pleased toadie was seen this morning actually using the toad house!!
All my new internet purchases have arrived so I am going to brave planting out some stuff. The slug inn’s look quite cute and are practical as the beer should last a month, as long as I don’t get to it first! So braved planting out my runner beans and courgettes. Bought some well rotted horse manure and mixed this into the bed, set out the canes and planted it up. So fingers crossed they will survive. Not sure which courgette plants have made it due to my useless labelling, at least one is Black Beauty.
Neighbours called me over for a few drinks and I gate crashed their Jubilee party so no more gardening for me today ;) Did walk a few people around the garden and had some nice comments.
Rain came in about 7pm, torrential again but we partied on indoors.

So cute! I have set out a couple of broken clay pots for shelters for the toad in my yard, but he/she ignores them.
