An absolutely beautiful day in the garden, so I decided to take it easy and only get a tiny bit dirty. Took a nice long walk around taking pictures, so many things are blooming! I guess everything loved the long soft rain we had a few days ago after nothing for weeks.
Photos 1-4 are of the hosta nursery, where baby hostas go to grow up before they’re moved to a more permanent home.

Of course you can come visit, orientallily! We’ll sit in the shade of the oak tree surrounded by hostas and lilies, drinking our tea and planning an imaginary folia convention! Wouldn’t that be fun!?

And thank you for the kind words everyone, I do so love my hostas! (Fortunately, seeingreen, the slugs are being sluggish so far this year.) But echinaceas are quickly becoming my favorite flower for sun!

Is that ‘maui buttercups’ in image #3? I have and I love. I love what you call you hosta nursery! And you have echinacea varieties I have never seen. Thank you for posting.

Actually image 3 is Sun Power. I have two of them I’ve never divided, and they’re getting HUGE! And stay tuned for more echinacea when I get my new bed in this year or next!
