After this very detailled journal from April 8th. Everything on that list is still there, and bigger, branching, budding or blooming. They’ve all woken up and in their beloved blazing sun are putting on a great show.
Photos:
1: Mammillaria ‘Snowcap’
2: Opuntia phaecantha buds
3: Aloe arisata developing flower spike
4: Mammillaria zeilmanniana buds

Cactus/succulents are my favs but I had to give up most of my collection years ago. Lithops are my favorite plant in the whole, wide world. Fond memories seeing your Cereopegia woodii, stapelia and lithops. Your plants are beautiful. Thank you for postig.

Snowcap looks wonderful, Tralamander! Your plants seem to grow well under you TLC! :-)) I have lots of small Christmas & Easter Cactus plants on my windowsills at home but they rarely live up to the season tag of their names. The Easter Cactus are flowering now, well, they have been flowering for quite some time actually.
Before you jump on me – I’m not responsible for their names & I know full well they are succulents & NOT cacti! I have been growing them for many years. They grow like “weeds” for me! If a piece gets broken off I can’t help but put it in a pot as they root so easily! Like the Amaryllis, I’ve got dozens of little plants! The original came from broken pieces left on supermarket shelves years ago. I picked them up, brought them home & rooted them & they have been with me ever since. I have mostly bright pink although there is a very dark red one. There used to be a white one as well but I’ve no idea if it still exists. Out of flower there is no way of knowing what colour they are & so get moved around & mixed up.
