Every year we keep the grevilleas pruned so we have lots of cuttings. Flowers are the enemy! But after April we let them go to flower and I cut a nice big bunch of flowers this afternoon. It makes me very happy to do this. For another month we will let them flower and then we will start pruning as it takes us 2 months to complete the job. It is our turn to go visit good friends in Brisbane this year, so we’ll have to schedule that for June as Viv loves to enjoy our flowers. Then in September we will be hoping for some warm weather to get them going again for another season of propagating. I was able to pick some Callistemon Pink Alma (not pruned yet) and my Acacia cowleana was flowering so I used that as well.
