Being grandchild-less I find myself forced to borrow them from friends. This is Tete—she was supposed to help a few weeks ago, but then it cold-snapped so we ended up making muffins instead.
Today, she helped me plant out my eggplant and tomato starts. We also planted carrot seeds (tri-color) and beans. I told her if she planted beans, then she had to eat them. Then we had hand-squeezed lemonade with mint and strawberries from the garden!
She’ll be back in two weeks to help plant corn!
