May 12, 2012

Saturday, 12 May 12 Rainy 20°C / 68°F

~Transplanted squash (moved one from the hill with three seedlings to the hill with no seedlings)
~Transplanted the ‘take 2’ habaneros—four of them
~Pulled out day lilies and other lilies from the peony bed—they’re not working out there.
~Mowed and weedwhacked. Accidentally whacked off the top of a garlic plant, so I pulled that, and will try drying it.
~Sowed marigolds in the volunteer tomato planter.
~Mulched the lilac, which incidentally has the mildew spots on its leaves already.
~Dug up the middle part of the front bed, and weeded a bit there.
~Matt climbed onto the patio roof to sweep off the sticks and twigs, and clean out the gutter.
