My yard is full of different flowers and I noticed a lot of activity going on especially around the area where my aptenia cordifolia is. Lots of honey bees and even a bumble bee.
It is true the more plants the more insects. There are a variety of butterflies around also. And now the rain came and everything is sprouting and growing. It is great.!!!

Wow! I don’t know 3 out of those 5 plants! I can only identify rosemary and morning glory. What are the other 3? :)

The first one is Sucrine Du Berry Squash. The last one is dalhia from a mix seed. And, the rosemary is not your typical rosemary. It is rosemary Irene a trailing type I bought from Park Seed. It will cascade on a hilll or off a tall container. Mine is on the edge of a contention wall (not too high) but it is still not mature enough to cascade. The featured plant is a milkweed. I grow this one in back of the barn where I want to have a butterfly garden. I have at least 20 of this particular one. Happy gardening!!!
