I have about 40 varieties of tomatoes.
I have sown 1 to 6 seeds of each variety… (I already have one ‘customer’ who gets all her tomato-plants from my sowings, so for some favourite varieties I started with more seeds)
About every single seed germinated, and I didn’t loose a single seedling during pricking and potting up this year.
So I ended up with about 160 plants, and room for 40, maybe 42.
But we are in the local ’Lets’group (Local Exchange Trading System), so I’ve sent out a mail to the other members, offering my excess of plants…
I got several reactions, and today the first batch left my greenhouse…
Annelies got 2 Black Brandy, 2 Black Cherry, 4 Brandywine, 3 Roma, 2 Sweet Baby, 1 Pink Brandy and 1 Erdie’s Family Oxheart…
She took also one winter squash Uchiki Kuri, and 1 zucchini Striato d’Italia.
