Three weeks ago I have sown my zucchine and my squashes.
All germinated rather fast, except for Burgess Buttercup and Butternut.
Burgess Buttercup was from a package of seed I bought this winter, but the Butternut seeds were a little bit older, but germinated without a problem last year.
Eventually, one Burgess Buttercup sprouted last week, but Butternut stayed hidden. I decided to resow those yesterday, because several friends from our local Lets group had asked me for a plant.
But guess what I saw in my greenhouse today? Indeed, at last Butternut has decided to sprout… (OK, only one seedling until now, but maybe some more will come.)
The beans I’ve sown last week have sprouted too today… I’ve sown Borlotti beans (Lingue di Fuoco) and dwarf French beans (‘Pencil Pod Black Wax’) that Carms sent me past December…

Yesterday I discovered a sprout in the pot where I had sown Sweet Pea ‘Painted Lady’ in Februari. That was already the second batch I sowed, and since my other sweet peas where much faster to germinate, I thought this wouldn’t come up, but look!
