I transplanted the rest of the peppers tonight.These small peppers are barely showing true leaves, but are ready to be moved out of their starting trays and find new homes in their own little pots.
I had 3 disappointments, the Blaze, Georgia Flame, and the Maule’s Red Hot failed to sprout. Some others like Etna, Erawa, and Goat Horn were slow to sprout but made it up. Others like Big Jim were sporadic germinators and were non-uniform.
I have a row of F2 Dynamite peppers that were collected from seed from a pepper from the Farmer’s market last year. We’ll see how stable this cross is, and whether I get a decent pepper from these or not.
The “before” picture is the main pic taken yesterday. The two darker ones are the individual peppers in their 2" paper pots. They now have room to grow and breathe.
