Big debate whether to go to the show as the weather looked awful. Finally decided to get up and go early as the weather looked better for the morning, how wrong could they be? Very!! Spent the morning having a look around in between running for cover, torrential downpours and felt so so cold. A few more show gardens this year, liked Chris Beardshaws Urban Oasis. Some really nice stalls but just browsing as not looking for anything inparticular.
Purchases:
Clematis montana Mayleen
Two Poppy ladybird- hopefully will self seed as have tried numerous times from seed and failed miserably.
Three Cephalaria gigantea
Two Verbascum ‘Wedding Candles’
Seed potatoes Cassablanca
All in all had a good day out but being able to have a picnic like last year would have been nice.
Managed to get all my buys into the greenhouse and even plant the clematis inbetween downpours. Looks like some seeds are sprouting in my raised beds :)
